With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Margaret McMahon of La Plata, Maryland, born in Midland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Francis and Margaret Canty (Creamer); her husband Joseph Patrick McMahon; and her siblings, Owen, Rose, Kathleen M. Harden (Joseph Harden) and Frieda M. Southern (Dennis Southern).
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Jo Thompson (late George C. Thompson), Teresa Chaconas (Ted Chaconas), Rose Marie Codling (Arthur P. Codling), Patricia Southcomb (late Robert A. Southcomb), Anne Flamm (John Flamm) and Catherine McMahon. She is also survived by grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, special cousins, many devoted nieces, nephews, Godchildren, neighbors and friends.
