Mary Ann Lester Spires Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Lester Spires of La Plata, Maryland, born in Clover, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Annie Lester; her husband Loyd C. Spires; and her siblings, Clara Lee Toombs, Lonnie Lester, Frank Lester of James Lester, J. B and Ronnie Lester.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Diane Gandee (Larry) and Patricia Perkins (Robert); her grandsons, Ken Murphy (Heather) and John Murphy (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Kendall Murphy (Trevor Eaton), Camden Murphy, Abbey Murphy, Aubrey Murphy, Reid Murphy and Grant Murphy; and her sister Shirley (Mickey Baugh). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
