Mark Carter Fields Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Carter Fields (La Plata, Maryland), born in Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert "Gil" E. Fields and Betty "Bo" J. Fields (Carter); his cousin Scott Carter; and his close friend Tazz. He is survived by: his former wife Debbie Ruby (Chuck); his daughter Jenny; his wife Suzanne M. Fields; his children, Jennifer L. Goddard (Lenny) and David C. Fields; his stepdaughter Danielle C. Lubin (Neil); his grandchildren, Evan and Hanna; and his stepgrandchildren, Cassidy and Kaylen. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
Even during the pressures of Covid, he and Suzanne were able to watch their grandson Evan play baseball down the street from their home.
