She is survived by: her children, Shanel Holt and Sharif Holt; her granddaughters, Ciara Moore of Maryland, Triniti Holt of Maryland and Camelie Desir of Maryland; her siblings, Dusty Hackett (Sharon Kay) of Virginia, Norma Jean Hackett-Winfree of Virginia, Cheryl Hackett, Ruby Hackett of New York, Juanita Hackett of California and Davina Rapelyea-Carey of Washington, DC.; her aunts, Rebecca Custis of Virginia, Jeannette "Cookie" Barton of Virginia and Collette Miree of Maryland; her uncle Jose Gillespie of Washington, DC.; her cousin Evelyn Gray of Virginia; her niece Laryse Thompson of Virginia; her godson Justin Hackett of Virginia; and her friend Andrea Phoenix of New York. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (3150 Middletown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
