He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Col. Merrill Louis Holtz and Ruth Anne Holtz (Weber); his wife Barbara of La Plata; his daughters, Anne Holtz Schmick (Chad) of University Park, Maryland, Megan Hamilton (Anthony) of Buda, Texas and Emily Caesar (Jason) of Woodstock, Georgia; his sisters, Cheryl Kitchen (Jim) of Corcoran, Minnesota, Linda Grendahl (Louie) of Crystal, Minnesota and Pamela Zimitsch (John) of Maple Grove, Minnesota; and his grandsons, Corey, Jonah, Lucas Schmick, Ian Hamiton, Phoenix, Kingston and Sky Caesar. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends.
