He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cox and Christie Cox; his daughter Christie Cox; and his siblings, Leslie, Warren, Elmer, Clinton, Charlie, Archie and Myrtle Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo Jeanette Cox (Roop); and his children, Carolyn Crouse (Freddie), Gary Cox, Ava Bowden (Tommy Dixon), Janet Cox, Beckey Haft (Howard) and Roy Cox. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment will be private due to the circumstances of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
