It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Montgomery Scott of La Plata, Maryland, born in Camp Springs, Maryland, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Patrick Montgomery (Harry) and Rachel Rebecca Montgomery; her husband Godfrey Scott; and her brother Donald Montgomery. She is survived by: her children, Christine Cook, Michael Byrd (Colleen) and Debbie Lucas (Ronnie). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
