With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Crawford Spear of La Plata, Maryland, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2022 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June Crawford Spear to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Askewline Crawford (Pickering); her husband William Howard Spear, Jr.; her grandson Andrew Spear; and her brother C. Edward Crawford. She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Spear (Debbie), John C. Spear (Debbie) and Winter Peed (Billy); her grandchildren, Aaron Spear, Stephen Spear, Shannon Keys, Logan Peed, Amber Wodkins and Breanne Peed; her sister Dale McDaniel; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Frey and Joan Spear. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in June's name are asked to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for Leukemia, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
