He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ignatius Langley, Jr. and Lillie Mae Gamble Langley; and his sisters, Dorothy Mae Hayden (Charlie), Virginia Lucille Boarman (Andy) and Mary Jean Matthews.
He is survived by: his children, James W. Langley (Jacki Riggs), Chris M. Taylor (Pam Gavin) and Lisa L. Adkins (Todd); his brother James "David" Langley, Sr. (Mary Bowie); his siblings-in-law, David Matthews, Robert V. Baker, Jr. (Joanne) and Vickie L. Killingbeck (Martin); and his nephew James "David" Langley, Jr.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, four great grandsons, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
