It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Ronald Black of La Plata, Maryland, born in Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Ronald Black; and his granddaughter Emily Jane Allard. He is survived by: his daughters, Lesley Ramona Black Harris and Natalie Mary Black Allard (Robert); his wife Ramona Phillips Black (Black); his grandchildren, Courtney Stankovich (Jeffrey), Robert Owen Allard III (Katelyn) and Jacob Ronald Allard (Bethany); and his great grandchildren, Skylar Emily Stankovich, Savannah Ellen Stankovich, Eleanor Jane Allard and Robert Owen Allard, IV.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary United Methodist Church (3235 Leonardtown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Oakland Cemetery Calvary United Methodist Church (11345 Berry Rd, Waldorf, MD 20603).
