He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rudolph Pilkerton and Helen Elizabeth Pilkerton (Hammett); his siblings, Thomas Rudolph, Kenneth Michael Pilkerton and Catherine Louise Burton; and his brother-in-law Gary Gene Burton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lee (Linda), Richard (Janice), Margaret Readey (Mark), Diane Readey and Pam Hooker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
