She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret B. Allen and Cleaveland Stevens; her husband Harry "Buddy" Groenwoldt; her son Mark Andrew; and her siblings, Susan Lee Robbins and Alton Allen Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Steven Groenwoldt of La Plata, MD, John Groenwoldt (Lisa) of Indian Head, MD, Laurie Weiss (Andy) of Alamagordo, NM, Paul Groenwoldt (Alison) of La Plata, MD and Luke Groenwoldt of Dunkirk, MD.; her grandchildren, Kelly Martin, David Groenwoldt, Hanna Groenwoldt, Joey Groenwoldt, Jack Groenwoldt and Dylan Erickson; her great grandchild Khalia Erickson; her siblings, Cheryl Maddox (Bobby) of LaPlata, MD, Sandra Rodeheaver of Colonial Beach, VA and Larry Allen of Gambrills, MD; and her sister-in-law Margaret Cunningham (Richard) of Rosslyn, VA. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
