It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Duane Riege (La Plata, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 20, 2018, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Janet Riege (Wheeler). He is survived by: his parent Delmer Riege; his wife Melissa Riege; his daughters, Bethany Riege and Rachel Riege; his sister Kelly Gjovik; his brother-in-law John Gjovik of La Plata; and his brothers, Andrew Riege of Annapolis and William "Bubby" Brown of Waldorf.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Charlotte Hall Veteran's Hall Ministry - Grace Lutheran Church and School, La Plata, MD.
