She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chayka and Margarete Gebhardt Chayka. She is survived by: her husband George Echino of La Plata, MD; her children, Joseph Echino (Kimberly) of Mechanicsville, MD and Lisa Echino of La Plata, MD; her grandsons, Mason and Dominic Echino; her siblings, Versalee Estill (Barry) of Laurel, MD and John Chayka (Brenda) of South Dakota; her sister-in-law Rosemary Echino of Bronxville, NY; and her nephews, Timothy Chayka and Michael Chayka of South Dakota.
