It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bengt Borje Barnas (La Plata, Maryland), who passed away on March 14, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Edvin A. Barnas and Ellen L. Berg Barnas; his wife Grace Barnas; his children, Kenneth C. Barnas (Luanne), Richard E. Barnas (Nancy), Robert B. Barnas (Cornelia) and Kathleen G. Sorensen; and his siblings, Benn B. Barnas and Betty S. Barnas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
