It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Ruth Taylor of La Plata, Maryland, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Downs and Nellie Downs; her husband William Taylor1 (Bill); and her siblings, Joseph Downs, Mary Smeal and Francis Elford.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Beach (Steve) of Mechanicsville and Michael Taylor of Chaptico, MD.; and her sister Catherine Davis of Farnham.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
