She was predeceased by: her mother Irish Immigrant of County Clare, Ireland.; and her brother William Joseph "Buddy" Lunceford. She is survived by: her husband Robert Charles Edwards; her children, Denice Edwards Schroeder (Doug) of Bryantown, MD, Robin Edwards Carrico (Rudy) of Bryantown, MD and Glenn Edwards (Meghan) of Olney, MD; her grandchildren, Christopher Schroeder (Trier), Jessica Fynn (Dominic), Brittany Carrico, Eleanor Brooke Carrico, Rudolf A. Carrico, III, Glenn Charles Edwards, Jr., Jack Blaa and Abby Blaa; her great grandchild Weston Ray Schroeder; and her sister-in-law Annette Raminez (Ritchie).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made, in Marie's memory, to Hospice of Charles County, 2505 Davis Road, Waldorf, MD 20603.
