He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie O. Stroupe Greene; his parents, Jessie J. Green and Sara Rotenberry Green; his daughter Donna M. Viands; his granddaughter Lena Greene; and his siblings, Nannie Tilley, Georgia Green, Nellie Muncy, Ralph Green, Hobert Green, Steve Green and Elden Green.
He is survived by: his children, James W. "Bill" Greene (Tessie) of Universal City, TX, Douglas E. Greene of Brunswick, Paul D. Greene (Margaret) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Judy Eagle (Kenny) of Jefferson; and his brother John Green (Wanda) of Roderfield, WV.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
