He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Miller; his parents, Jacob H. Metcalf and Margaret Metcalf (Ellifritz); and his siblings, Cecil, Walter, Claude, Melvin Metcalf, Beulah Agnew, Wanda Metcalf and Mildred Slaughter.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Metcalf of Hagerstown, MD, Stephen Metcalf (Stephanie) of Wheaton, MD, Douglas Metcalf of Frederick, MD, Debra Hubbard (David) of Baker, WV and Gene Metcalf (Laura) of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Katherine Hubbard (Shane LaBrush), Mary Evans, Alex Metcalf and Sam Hubbard (Meghan); and his great grandchildren, Ella, Nova LaBrush, Amelia Evans, Emmett and Easton Hubbard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren (1911 Rohrersville Rd, Knoxville, MD 21758).
