We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2018, at the age of 86, Ernest W. May Jr. (Knoxville, Maryland), born in Frederick, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Ernest, Sr.; his brother David Lamar May; and his former wife Catherine May McKinnon. He is survived by: his parent Lillian Mae May (Allison); his spouse Shelby Scott-May of Knoxville; his daughters, Deborah L. May of Harpers Ferry, WV and Tempie C. Powell of Frederick; and his sister Mary Alice Smith of Frederick. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
