He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Simmons (Ted) and Mary Bernadine Simmons (Lyons); his brother Edgel; his wife Marlene Simmons (Watts); his sons, Joshua Lee Simmons (Cassie) and Justin Luke Simmons (Carol); his grandchildren, Carson Oster, Mariah and Colton Simmons; his brother Melvin Simmons II (Janet); and his nephew Matthew Simmons. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
