She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Franklin and Lula Almeda Ellen Beckman (Murphy); her husband George E. Sweitzer (Porge); and her sisters, Mary Simms (Sally Hardesty) and Katelyn Sweitzer.
She is survived by: her children, Paula G. Teets (Larry) of McHenry, MD and Michael S. Sweitzer of Kitzmiller, MD; her grandson Matthew R. Watson (Sarah); her great grandchild Alannah E. Watson of McHenry, MD; and her siblings, Jim Beckman (Brenda) of Terra Alta, WV, Wayne Beckman (Janie) of Oakland, MD, Judy Sweitzer (Dave) of Oakland, MD, Sue Wolf (Lee) of Swanton, MD, Donna Tasker (D. L.) of Parsons, WV and Barbie Poffenberger (Eddie) of Boonsboro, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
