He was predeceased by: his daughter Diana Lynn Bridges; his parents, Edward W. Bridges and Veronica P. Bridges; his brother Edward L. Bridges; and his parent-in-law Silverio J. Mazzella.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Theresa "Tisa" Bridges; his children, Mindy Bockstie (Scott), Andrea Palmerino (Scott), Ralph Bridges, Jr., Gina Petr (Mike), Dominic Bridges (Marie) and Veronica "Ronnie" Bridges; his grandchildren, Scott, Ciarra, Mason, Payton, Travis, Jacob, Maya, Austin, Chase, Theo and Giuliano; and his mother-in-law Hannah M. Mazzella.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you have Masses offered for the repose of the soul of Mr. Ralph A. Bridges, Sr. or send memorial contributions to Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
