He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emma Adkins; his children, Rhonda Erb (Leonard) and Eugene "Gene" Adkins, Jr. (Margaret); his grandchildren, Katie Pappas (Andrew), Lisaray Adkins, Meghan Adkins, Eugene Adkins III, Meaghan Erb, Amber Erb, Connor Erb and Kellie Corcoran; and his great grandchildren, Andy Pappas, Alexander Pappas, Christopher Maden, Lucas Maden and Jackson Atkins.
