She was predeceased by: her parents, Brinton and Isabella Robinson (Brown); her son Thomas Matthews; her brothers, James B. Robinson and Brinton D. Robinson, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Creola Robinson and Mary E. Robinson.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Anna McBride; her daughter-in-law Janice Matthews; her grandchildren, Thomas M. Matthews and Ragon K. Matthews; her great grandchildren, Amber, Janae Matthews of Thomas, II, Keyanna, Kenneth Matthews and Samuel McKisset; and her cousin Elizabeth Estella Bradley. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
