He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Rogers Jacob and Edith Wilmer Hughes Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Jane Rosenfield; his daughters, Rebecca Jacob (Gary Woodward), Jodie Jacob (Russ Smith), Shuna Jacob (John Catterall) and Myfanwy Jacob Smith (Steve Smith); and his sister Janet Holbrook. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
