As we bid adieu to Virginia Carter's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Virginia Carter has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burks Carter and Ella Carter; and her husband Victor A. Berté. She is survived by: her daughter Tina Maxwell (Charles); and her granddaughters, Emily, Hayley and Jennifer Maxwell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (9705 Summit Ave, Kensington, MD 20895). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
