We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021, at the age of 83, Joyce Koenig Burlas of Kensington, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward B. Burlas; and her grandson Eric. She is survived by: her children, Michael Burlas (Silvia), Sharon Burlas, Kathy Jackson (Michael) and Mark Burlas (My); her grandchildren, Dan Burlas (Yumi), Heather Burlas, Kyle Jackson, Claire Jackson, Trinae Calhoun, Melysa Calhoun and Andrew Burlas; and her brother Allan Koenig (Carolyn). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850.
