She was predeceased by: her son Blair Purcel Green; her parents, Woodrow Hollins and Gonzala Hollins; and her brother John Hollins. She is survived by: her husband Penrose W. Green, III (Bill); her children, Gary Green (Cara) and Aynne Rae Pumphrey (Curtis); and her brother Carl Hollins (Doris) of Port St. She is also survived by six grandchildren; one great grandchild.

“Mary and I were friends from childhood, both of our parents and Aunt Daisy restricted us to sitting on the front porch through our “Teens”. .Later I followed Mary to Freedmans Scool of Nursing where we both graduated, Mary was always shy and had a quiet, kind caring demeanor. Mostly she truly loved her family -each and everyone . Mary was truly an “Angel”,she often spoke of her love for each of you. She stood strong and persevered through many years of illnesses., She Faithfully loved her church and family. And she was a quiet reassuring confident to many.
