She was predeceased by: her parents, John Warren and Cora Warren (James); her daughter Mary L. Reeves; her grandchildren, Keith P. Starks and Vernzella Y. Starks; and her siblings, John Allen, Eugene, Raymond, Curtis, Percy, Robert Smith, Etheline Fowler, Pauline Carter, Edith McCree and Arthea Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Knight; her daughter Deloris F. Starks; her sister Gloria Cosgrove; and her grandchildren, Anthony Starks of Atlantic City, NJ and Sharon R. Williams.
