It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arion N. Pattakos (Kensington, Maryland), who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Nicholas G. and Nadine Pattakos; his former spouse Thalia Cording; his family Greek; his wife Maria; his children, Nadine Connor (Joel Winnig) and Nicholas J. Pattakos (Nina); and his grandchildren, Alec Hogoboom (Kaitlynn Sutor), Maia Jordan (Cody) and Buck Hogoboom (Jamie Teche). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

A long and distinguished career in the US Army was the foundation of Arion's professional life.
