He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard William Hardy and Barbara Dodson Hardy. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kay"; his children, Scott D. Hardy (Ronda) of Keedysville, MD and Michele C. Hardy Payne of Whitefish, MT; his grandsons, Cody Payne, Jeremy Hardy and Zachary Hardy; his brother Donald "Hammer" Hardy (Susie); his nieces, Valerie Creamer and Jamie Ranalli; and his nephew Tony Hardy.
