It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene B. Abbott Weltz (Keedysville, Maryland), who passed away on March 22, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Austin Abbott (Lance) and Edwin Weltz; her son Dale Abbott; her siblings, William Hardey (Bill) and Hyliene Tusing; and her daughter-in-law Rhonda Abbott.
She is survived by: her sister Imogene Reeder; her sons, Austin Abbott (Abe), Lionel Abbott (Helen) and Benny Abbott; her grandchildren, Kimberly Rumberg (Jeff), Christopher Abbott, Shawn Burke and Lionel Abbott, II; her wife Carrie Cook; her great grandchildren, Summer Burke, Emily Burke, Ada, Julian, Vera Cook and Jason Abbott; and also Danny Cook (Erin).
She asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the church (3636 Chestnut Grove Road, Keedysville, MD 21756) or Hospice of Washington County (747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742), and wished God's peace to all.
