It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy C. Dodson of Keedysville, Maryland, born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frisby Griffith and Sara Catherine Lewis Griffith; her husband Charles A. Dodson; and her siblings, Kenneth, Leo, Samuel, Lloyd, Wilmer, Gardner, Rosie, Martha and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Vernon Dodson of Falling Waters, WV, Brenda Poffenberger (Edward) of Keedysville, MD, Ronald Dodson (Brenda) of Keedysville, MD, Ralph Dodson of Sharpsburg, MD and Wayne Dodson of Martinsburg, WV; and her grandchildren, Jeff, Sarah, Charley, David, Eddie, Curtis, Christopher, Brooke and Jeremy. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
