He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurie Friedman and Doris Friedman (Ostrow); and his wife Suzanne. He is survived by: his children, Alexis Holland (Michael), Joshua Welsh (Kristin) and Melanie Friedman (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Novalee, Matti, Noah, Baylei and Addyson.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Department at 110 W. Champlain Street Sharpsburg, MD 21782.
