He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Merriken and Thomas Merriken; his brother Richard Merriken (Mary); and his grandson Robert Merriken. He is survived by: his wife Toby Merriken; his children, Robert Merriken (late Rita), Bonny Condon (Larry) and Liisa Starkey (Tom); his stepsons, Steve Kight (Judy) and Wayne Travis Biggs (Mona); his sisters, Betty Treuting (Charles), Vida Wheeler (Ben) and Doris Edwards (Jack); his grandchildren, Brittany Centeno (Cristobal), Zachary Gullion (Sidnee), Heather Kalman (Shane) and Anne Geisinger (Ken); and his great grandchildren, Izayiah, Karynah, Jaykub Thomas, Dayanna, Emily Centeno, Elijah Gullion and Millie Kalman.
