She was predeceased by: her husband Henry F. Nelson; and her children, Susan L. Shannon, Philip R. Nelson and William H. Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Mary Louise Kellogg (Lloyd) and Raymond "Buzz" Nelson (Carol); and her daughter-in-law Maureen Nelson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
