He is survived by: his children, Joseph Matassa (Leslie), Mark Nunzio Matassa (Stacy), Christine Maria Abler (Donald) and Dianna Sara Miller (Francis); his grandchildren, Michael Starchak, Matthew Starchak, Ashley Yost, David Miller, Mark Matassa, Jessica Hall, Joshua Matassa, Danielle Kuczarski and Joseph Matassa; his great grandchildren, Aubree Miller, Samuel, Henry Starchak, Avery Yost, Anna Miller and Finley Hall; and his fiancée Mary Wyatt.
