He is survived by: his wife Frances Potochney (Smink); his children, Randy Potochney (Joyce), Nick Potochney, Jr. (Jan), Sean Potochney (Lisa) and Tanya Smith (Joseph); his grandchildren, Arwen Potochney, Brian, Amy Potochney, Sydney and Ethan Smith; and his sisters, Rita Shearn and Patricia Gidaro.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (540 Joppa Farm Rd, Joppatowne, MD 21085). A Mass was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Highview Memorial Gardens (3433 Fallston Rd, Fallston, MD 21047).
