He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles E. Simms Sr. and Florence H. Simms (Phipps) of Baldwin, Maryland.; his spouse Dennis Simms (Lambert); his children, Deborah Williams (Edward) and Mark Simms (Michelle); his grandchildren, William Rob Magness, Brandon Simms, Brittany Simms, Summer Simms, Noah Simms and Noel Simms; and his brothers, Jessie Simms (Lois) and David Simms (Maggi). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and several great grandchildren.
