It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ewers Maines of Joppa, Maryland, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Buser and Ida Buser (Langley); her spouse Letcher "Dick" Maines; and her former husband Charles Lawler Ewers, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles L. Ewers, Jr. (Lissa) of Churchville, MD and Faye L. Wilkinson of Perry Hall, MD; her grandchildren, Gregory C. Meise and Hunter C. Hughes; and her siblings, Edward J. Buser, Jr., John J. Buser, Joseph W. Buser, Bernadine Gorham, Anna B. Crouse Alevato, Gertrude B. Nichols and Dorothy Faye Buser.
