She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Claar and Martha Claar (Koones); her husband Luther Showalter Jr.; and her sister Nannie Olive Byrd. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Raistrick (Glenn), James Showalter (Cinda) and Alan Showalter (Esther); her siblings, Grace Pennell, Joanne McKinney, Emmert Claar, Glenn Claar and Edwin Claar; her grandchildren, Shari Goodenough (Tim), Lauri Krall (Jason), Ian Raistrick, Megan Gullion and Dana Goodwin (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Alexis Krall, Adrien Krall (Dylan Waltman), Aaron Krall, Brandon Goodenough, Ryan Goodenough (Jenny), Logan Gullion, Jackson Gullion, Owen Goodwin and Grant Goodwin; and her great great grandchild Amara Waltman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
