It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Disney Merson of Jessup, Maryland, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Owen Merson and Esther Ruth Merson; and his siblings, James Merson, Bertha Youse, Adelaide Harless and Shirley Coon.
He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Merson; his children, Philip Merson Jr. and Michelle Dwyer (Chuck); his grandchildren, Ashley Merson and Kayleigh Livingston; his great grandchildren, Carleigh Austin and Saralynn Austin; and his sister Mary Bromwell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cross Life Bible Church (2127 Old Liberty Rd W, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
