She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Adkins and Clara Guy Adkins; her husband Richard J. Spratt, Sr.; and her siblings, James Adkins and Linda Bias Owens.

She is survived by: her children, Paul D. Adkins of West Virginia, Leisha Zickar (Keith) of Pasadena, MD, Richard Spratt, Jr. (Deborah) of Severn, MD and Mary Howell (Edgar) of Middleburg, FL. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
