He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shankle and Anna Mary Shankle (Hoffman). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shankle (Hemp); his children, Nathan Shankle and Elizabeth Zimmerman (Jason); his grandchildren, Chance Zimmerman and Landon Zimmerman; and his siblings, Harold Richard Shankle Jr. and Nancy Hipkins (Ronald). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Face masks and social distancing are required. The church service will be private at Jefferson United Church of Christ, Jefferson.
