He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Harding Sr. and Violet J. Harding; and his siblings, John E. Harding Jr., Robert L. Harding, Jean Graham, Julia Blankenship, Janet Burdette and Lita J. Harding.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Harding; his children, Sandra Hainline (Jeff) of Jefferson, John Harding, Sr. (Brenda) of Jefferson and Jennifer Grube (Ed) of McKenney, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Matthew Hainline, Andrew Hainline, Katherine White (Eric), Kristine Sims (Nick) and John Harding, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Brylee, Penelope, Lila, James and Nora Violet; and his siblings, Upton Harding (Connie) of Gaithersburg, Kenneth Harding (Carol) of Silver Spring, Jacqueline Harding of Gaithersburg and Priscilla Hansen of Walkersville.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molesworth-Williams P. A. Funeral Home (26401 Ridge Rd, Damascus, MD 20872). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
