He is survived by: his parents, Michael Norman and Margaret Ann Chagnon (Sturgis); his children, Charlotte Rose Chagnon and Kaven Michael Chagnon; his sisters, Amanda Nickell (Carson) and Michelle Chagnon-Bryan (Kris); and his parents-in-law, Louis Michael Wirtanen and Sandra Marie Caudell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many extended family and friends.
