He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael John Amato, Sr. and Margaret Prell Amato; his brother Chauncy Amato; his wife Thelma Monica Amato (Schatz); his stepsons, Lawrence and Anthony Foster; his daughter Leah Amato; and his sister-in-law Johnnie Amato. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
