He was predeceased by: his parents, George McRee and Sophie McRee (Coyner); and his siblings, Norma Shuford, Dorothy Werth, Betty Mayer and George "Bill" McRee.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his son Daniel McRee; and his sister Lucille "Lucy" Griffin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
