She is survived by: her sister Francine Akins (George, Sr.); her nephew George Akins Jr.; her nieces, Danita Williams (Zachery) and Lorena Akins; her great-nieces, Kaylah Evans and Kyah Evans; her great-nephew Kyron Evans; her niece Deborah Jackson; and her cousins, Virginia Ann Quinous and Elizabeth Clinton.
